We had an amazing time on our school tour to Jump N' Gyms in Nenagh. The boys had great fun on the slides, climbing frames and swings. Afterwards, we got a well-deserved ice cream

Jake and Ronan received medals of distinction for their wonderful entries into the Art category of the Community Games. Maith sibh!

We were invited to a Sports Day for children with additional needs, held in UL in the lovely sunshine. There were so many activities, including running races, parachute games, basketball, tennis, face painting, and even a magician! The boys all got medals for their races and an ice cream at the end of the day.

We had great fun on Toy Day today. The boys brought in toys from home and got to do a show-and-tell for each other. Jake brought in Skull Crawler, Tristan brought in his Number Blocks, and Fionn brought in his Nerf guns. We got to play outside and see everyone else's toys too.

The boys did wonderful work all through December to create lots of lovely Christmas art. We designed Christmas jumpers for the Toy Show, learned about Thanksgiving turkeys and Cubism snowmen, made paper plate Christmas trees and hand-print polar bears, and decorated snowflake tree ornaments. We also created a tesselating Christmas tree with some help from Mr Kennedy's class.

The boys had such fun this morning opening Christmas crackers. We all got little toys, told jokes and wore hats to get into the Christmas spirit!

We went to UL this week to practice for our Peace Proms concert in January. Jake and Ronan had a lovely day out, as we went through all the songs we will be performing with the conductor and learned some new dance moves!

We had a wonderful day at Liskennett Farm for our horse riding. We were blessed with the weather and met all the lovely, friendly horses in the yard. We followed the track through all the puddles and saw all the lovely scenery. We brought the horses back and gave them an apple to say thank you for the walk.

The boys got to see some very special trophies, won by the Limerick hurling team this year. They had the League Cup, The Mick Mackey Cup, and the Liam McCarthy 🏆

The 5th class boys did some lovely Autumn art in Mrs Murphy's room, where they had a great time painting leaves with autumnal colours!

We had a fabulous treat this week, we went to the staff room and had a popcorn party!

We had some very special visitors from Animal Magic last week, as we got to see some very exotic and rare animals. We got to learn interesting facts about the animals and got the chance to hold a rabbit, a chinchilla, lizards, a barn owl, and snakes!

We had a great time in the Lime Tree Theatre today in Mary Immaculate College, where we saw the musical Joseph, performed by the students from Catherine McAuley School.
