On March 13th as part of our St Patricks Day Celebrations we will have a Lá Glas and Dance for Declan fundraiser for Milford Hospice.

Information
In March of 2022 ,2023 and 2024,Catherine Mc Cauley school , Corpus Christi P.S , St Michael’s Infant school , St Patrick’s Girls school .An Mhódh Scoil ,Gaeilscoil Ráithín ,Ahane N.S ,St Johns P.S Cratloe and Presentation Girls P.S have raised close to € 15000 for Milford Hospice in memory of former teachers Declan Bromell and Nóirín Hartnett.
I hope to expand the event to more schools each year to raise money for this wonderful cause .
Milford hospice is an incredible help to all Limerick families in their toughest times and it was an opportunity for our children to learn a little about the care they provide to the city of Limerick while our children were having fun. Milford informed us that the money raised was used for therapies , night nurses , driving patients to treatments and helping support families in grief. Declan was full of fun and creativity and shared his talents of music and dancing and Gaeilge with all his pupils . Therefore we chose Seachtain na Gaeilge to run our fundraiser for Milford Hospice.
