This Tuesday the children engaged in lessons based on our Green Flag theme of Global Citizenship Litter and Waste. They watched videos, created artwork, sang and danced. As well as Litter and Waste we focused on the topics of Fairtrade and Sustainable Fashion. Our amazing Green School Committee worked on the outside of the school, painting and sweeping up leaves and moss. Mr.Kenny's class planted ferns and bulbs for the front of the school. The children took part in a motto competition with the winner being chosen by the Green School Committee. Congratulations to Melissa in 5th Class and thank you to everyone who took part!
