The Parents Council had a great day on Sunday at Boher Christmas Market. We sold out of all the baked goods which were kindly baked and donated by parents from the school and the council.
There was a strong Tobin presence with William and Patrick Tobin supplying us with some serious coffees and hot chocolates while Laura Tobin and Marguerite Egan were kept busy on the stall serving a steady stream of customers. We are also very grateful to Freda Liddane, Oonagh O Brien, Kathleen Laffan, Paula Fitzgibbon and Pamela Kirby who gave up their time and skills and were invaluable on the stall before, during and after the market.
All monies raised on Sunday go directly back to the Killinure children and school via the Parents Council’s various initiatives and activities.
We would like to thank Boher Development Committee for allowing us to host the stall at the market. Many thanks also to Paudie Laffan for liaising with the committee.
We promoted our Split the Pot Draw at the stall also. The pot now stands at €1125 with 2 weeks to go! One lucky winner will be drawn on December 20th. Tickets are limited so get yours early!
