The Parents Council were delighted to host the annual table quiz last Friday night in Pa McGraths, Boher. It was well attended by 22 tables that included many locals and parents from the school.
There was a great buzz around and lots of competitive banter with local team ‘JAMS’ coming out the overall winners of the quiz. There was also a hamper prize for ‘Best Team Name’.
There was a roaring trade for raffle tickets and all the prizes from our generous sponsors went down a treat. The ‘Student Homework Passes’ approved by Mr Guiney were a particularly coveted item!
We are sincerely thankful to the community for coming together and supporting this event. A big shout out to Ciara Walsh who organised the event, Claire Barry who MC’d and planned the quiz, Niall Skehan for providing sound, Pa McGraths for hosting and sponsoring the half time nibbles, our local businesses and parents who generously sponsored prizes and the council members who helped on the night.
