There are a few fun science channels online that your child might like to watch at home, under supervision.
One of these is 'Sid the Science Kid, an animated series that is very informative for young children.

We also love to watch 'Mark the Science Guy'- today we learnt all about FORCES (pushing and pulling).
It was fun to discover just how many times we use these forces throughout the school day, e.g. pushing in our chairs, pulling the doors to open them and when playing with playdoh, we do a lot of pulling and pushing to make and change shapes! :-)
