Arctic Explorers was our Aistear theme for January! We did lots of learning about arctic animals and habitats along with transport and houses in the arctic region before we began to play! 😀
Juniors really enjoyed the small world corner this month. They made their own arctic landscape and had lots of fun creating an arctic scene. In our role play corner, the girls and boys had lots of fun taking the role of various animals and people living in the arctic! They acted out different scenarios and really enjoyed making the arctic region come to life!
Juniors also learned how to draw a polar bear and penguin during Aistear time and created an arctic scene using playdoh! Lots of fun was had this month during Aistear❄️
