Today we finished our weeks of learning about space and our solar system with a BANG. The class designed their own rockets from recycled bottles, lollipop sticks and card.
I was really impressed with the different designs. Some groups were making wings, fins, 'fuel tanks' and decorating their rockets with all sorts of amazing colours and pictures.
We later learned that rockets launch using a chemical reaction. We made our own reaction with baking soda and vinegar.
After a few failed launches and the class inspecting what went wrong we had lift off. Check out our reactions below!
