💙National Diabetes Day💙

Today we marked National Diabetes Day in Killinure. Everyone wore blue as is it the colour for Diabetes Ireland.  Posters were designed and displayed around the school. The younger children watched a video and read a comic about Diabetes. The Senior Classes attended a wonderful presentation organised by some of our pupils who have diabetes. The children were all so polite and respectful and asked amazing questions.  Well done to the Student Council for suggesting that we celebrate this day which is so important to many of our families in the school Community.
