Senior Infants work for Thursday, January 9th
- Busy at Maths: pg 18
- Shared Reader:
- Reread your shared reader aloud (or another favourite book from home.)
- Choose 5 tricky words in the book- write them out using different colours for each letter (or bubble writing!) Draw a picture for your 2 favourite words!
- Pick out 3 different words in the book. Can you think of some words that rhyme with them? e.g ‘Globby’ rhymes with Bobby/ hobby
- Who is your favourite character in the story? Why?
Draw and colour a picture of them doing a funny activity!
- Chat about Snow ❄️:
- Think of as many words as you can that rhyme with ‘snow’.
List them. - How many words can you think of to describe snow? (white, icy, soft, wet, cold, fun etc)
- What activities can you do with snow? (make a snowman, throwing snowballs, sledding, skiing etc.)
- What animals live in snowy countries? (polar bear, penguins, reindeers, snow leopards etc.) List as many as you can!
