Junior Infants have begun working on their handwriting, both in class and for homework.✍🏻
Before we start forming actual letters, the initial focus is on correct posture and correct pencil grip, followed by making different types of lines (wavy, curved, zigzag etc.)
Above I have attached a very useful website, which works from Junior Infants all the way to 6th class.
It includes warm-up exercises (very important for little fingers before writing!) and other fun activities that aid the handwriting process.
It also shows a demonstration of how to form each letter of the alphabet correctly!
Definitely worth a look!
This can be used on any screen, including a tablet.
