I sent everyone an email yesterday about distance learning and another one about setting up Seesaw. Please let me know if you didn't hear from me or if you had any trouble getting started on Seesaw, ms.hanrahan@killinurens.ie.
Here is the work for today!
1. Maths:
- Master Your Maths week 15 Tuesday p34.
- Tables +11 (learn next 3 sums)-remember these can be found on p20 of your homework diary.
- Number Facts p59 Revision B(Units 8-13) 1. (These number bonds can be a little confusing sometimes so I've included a video below explaining how you can do them)
2. English:
- Reading: Dance Shoes for GG p6-see picture below
- *Phonics: Sounds Good Phonics-Complete the next 2 pages of your book. (The children are all on different pages of this book due to station teaching).* I would love if you could send me a picture of this work on Seesaw today.
3. Gaeilge:
- Watch yesterdays video again and listen out for the important phrases, see if you can answer this question about todays weather 'Cén saghas lae é?'
- Reading(Ag léamh): Bua na Cainte p37, practise reading the sentences, I have included a video below to help you pronounce the words.
4. SESE: Small World p48 Winter. Winter is one of the 4 seasons of the year. Think of all the facts you know about winter, what are the months of it? What is the weather like? What kind of clothes do we wear? Does it get dark early? On this page in our book today we are looking at what animals do during winter, have a look at the video below to learn a bit more about this. Then try and complete this page in your book.
