  • Firstly, I want you to see how many items of clothing or words to do with clothes that you can think of as Gaeilge, mar shampla, hata, cóta dearg, bróg, stocaí bán srl. You all know so many words to do with clothes already so it is important to test yourself and see how many you can remember!
  • Then I want you to listen to Haigh Didil Dom - what kind of clothes would the animals need to keep dry in the rain? Can you remember the names of these items of clothing in Irish?
  • Finally, I want you to listen to the interactive lesson below and then do p. 65 in Bua na Cainte.

Grow in Love:

So far, we have learned about how, at Mass, the followers of Jesus gather together, listen to the Word of God being read from the Bible, and thank God for all the things that he has given us.

When we gather together at Mass, we give praise and glory to God. We honour Jesus, God's only Son. The 'Sanctus' is prayed at Mass to remember the words that the angels said on the night that Jesus was born, and the words that the crowds said when they welcomed him to the city of Jerusalem. Sometimes, the Sanctus is sang at Mass, so I want you to have a listen to the video below and I want you to try remember the words in this prayer and sing along with it.
