Dear Parents,
It has been a very busy month for the Sixth Class children. They have all settled well and are working hard. This is the time of year when Secondary School Principals and Deputy Principals visit our school and provide valuable information about their schools, and tell them about their Open Nights. So far, we have had visits from Mr. Cusack, the Principal in St. Mary's, Newport and Ms. Brown, the Deputy Principal in John the Baptist Secondary School, Hospital.
The children interested in attending these schools as well as Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh have received application forms.
We will have a visit from Newport College this Thursday and Ms. Casey, the Principal of Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa, Doon next week.

In other news, our boys took part in a Gaelic Football tournament in Doon yesterday, beating Doon and Lisnagry. We lost narrowly to Roxboro but will meet them again in the final in the near future!
