Q1. You are looking at a triangular prism.
Q2 You have to tick the shapes that are prisms and x the shapes that are not.- A prism is a 3D shape that can be cut into identical slices.
Q3. Match the prism to the real life picture then to the slice of the prism and finally the shape of the slice. I would like to see this today please.

Two facts about prisms – They can be cut into identical slices and they cannot have curved faces.
Q1 – You are studying a triangular prism.
Q2 – There are two shapes here that are not prisms. Choose wisely.
Q3 – This is a matching exercise – match the prism to its real life equivalent, link it to the image of a slice of the prism and then to the shape of the slice.

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday which is today. Lent lasts for 40 days up until Easter Sunday so during this time we remember when Jesus went to the desert to fast and pray for 40 days and 40 nights.
In your Religion copy write down the following questions and answer them.
Q1. If you were giving something up for Lent what would it be?
Q2.Why would it be difficult for you to give it up?
Read the following poem and answer the questions orally. This poem is about choices and the choices we make everyday. This poem is also in your Religion book on page 51.

Q2. Why does the character in the poem say they are 'specially blessed'?
Q3, Name one difference between humans and the other creatures that this poem points to.
