Here is the work for today!
1. Maths:
- Master Your Maths Week 19 p42 Tuesday test
- Tables -3(learn next 3 sums)
- Number Facts p34. Unit 17 Add four. Tuesday
- *On our Zoom call this week we are going to do maths work! I would like everyone to write their own maths problem that they can ask the other children on the call. Make sure it is not too easy..or too difficult! Write it out in a copy or on a piece of paper and keep it safe for our zoom call on Thursday. I will put some examples in the picture below. You just have to write one! *I would love to see this on Seesaw today.
2. English:
- We are now finished reading the story of 'Dance Shoes for GG', can you retell the story in your own words? Can you answer the following questions?(Orally-no need to write answers)
- Why were people queuing outside a tent at the start of the story?
- Why couldn’t GG dance in his brown boots?
- Where did Winchilla look for dance shoes for GG?
- Why did GG not want to wear the big, soft pink shoes?
- What happened when Winchilla waved her wand three times over the pink shoes?
- Why did GG think Orin wouldn’t be able to help him?
- Where did Denzel take GG and Feena? Why?
- Did GG get a part in the film? Do you think he was upset?
- Did you enjoy reading this story? Why/Why not?
- Sounds Good Phonics: Complete the next 2 pages of your book
3. Gaeilge: Bua na Cainte p50. Label the clothes Teidí is wearing and colour the picture!
Listen to the poem 'Éadaí' below a couple of times and see if you can say the words along to it!
4. SESE Small World: This week we are learning about seasons on the farm, today we will look at spring and summer. How many facts can you remember about these seasons?
Take a look at the pictures below and read about the different changes that happen during these two seasons. Then try p56 of your book.
